Changes 0.93 to 0.94 Beta 1:

• Many additions in tournament mode: A tournament table is now visible during the tournament, aditionally a HTML table can be gererated. The tournament is now processed differently: At first the tournament continues at the pairing with the lowest number of games. So from every pairing now one game will be played, then the second game of every pairing etc. One can add engines at any time or rise the number of rounds without confusing the algorithm.

• One can add humans or board computers to tournaments.

• If you want to replace engines with newer versions, you can do so and reuse the old results for the new engine version.

• You can also change the results of pairings, e.g. to repeat games with errors.

• You can now run tournaments from special startpositions, also in Fischer Random Chess or Shuffle Chess.

• In the level dialog the tournament level is now better designed. In the blitz level you can now use fractions of a second as increment (bonus per move).

• You can now 'handicap' engines: In the engine management under 'details' you can set the strength of an engine. Arena pretends, that the engine is running under a lower time control, e.g. a strngth of 50% now means that the level 'game in 5 minutes' will become 'game in 2 minutes 30 seconds' for the engine.

• One can send now an init-string to the engines. These are commands sent to the engine directly after starting the engine. Setable in the engine management.

• The language selection is changed: You once have to select the language, if needed, you can change it under the main menu, options.

• If you install an engine, Arena now takes a look into the file 'engines.ini' and tries to find out about the type (UCI,Winboard), possible command line parameters, author or country, and fills in the fields of the engine configuration. This applies to the single engine installation as well as to the engine installation wizard.

• The analyse options are not changed in the version. A new version with bugfixes on that matter will be released in the process of this beta test.

After many games, more than 12-14, and after exiting Arena, there is problems running other programs: mouse becomes frozen for some time when I click with it in Navegator. Solution is restart PC and refresh memory.I think the problem is something related with WAV files, because after these 12-14 games, in some moments (after a move) there is a little delay in execution of WAV file (clock doesn´t work in this short interval of time).
Shold work when you restart Arena after a few games

After some games in Demommode, one terminated DRAW and I couldn´t resume with the next game anymore. Arena has frozen and I had to exit. Here is a part of debug file.

A mouse bug, that I have already reported, when a piece sticks with moouse pointer, don´t want to stay on chess board and erase all pieces from the screen when we start a new game. Now I know exactly when it happens. It happens during a game when, waiting for engine´s move, a click on my piece that I want to play in the next move. Then my piece sticks with mouse pointer, don´t want to stay on chessboard and erase all pieces from the board when I start a new game.
